A BLAST FROM THE PAST - ST JOSEPHS FRANCIS DOUGLAS SQUAD FROM 1983 TARANAKI SENIOR DIVISION 2
A big thank you to Michael FLOYD for lending me this picture of an old FDMC team from the 80's - he can be seen in the middle row, far right sporting the extremely fashionable if not a little retro "chocolate / yellow strip".
Michael's connections with the college continue as he is seen regularly taking an interest in the 1st X1 Squad this year and he will also be coaching a 13th Grade team this season. Obviously the footballing talents run true in his family as both of his son's, Corey and Jamie look forward to a bright future as current players in the 13th Grade and Youth Development Squads respectively.
